Sanitizers are products or processes intended to reduce specified microorganisms under stated conditions. Sanitizing, disinfecting and sterilizing are different claims.
What this means at your property
A product suitable for one surface or use may not carry the same claim for another. A cleanup proposal should name the product and explain the intended result rather than treat the terms as interchangeable.
What should be checked before application?
Read the product label for the relevant use, preparation and contact conditions. Ask the provider to identify the surfaces treated and any limitations. Do not assume that fragrance, visible wetness or a higher concentration confirms the intended outcome.
