“Unsafe” describes a condition that presents a safety concern. In a property assessment, the useful information is the specific concern, its location and the restrictions that apply—not the label alone.
Describe the condition clearly
A report should distinguish an observed problem from an area that could not be inspected. Ask who identified the concern, what further assessment is needed and which parts of the proposed work must wait. Do not enter a restricted area to collect photographs.
Before work or re-entry
Follow instructions from emergency responders and the qualified professionals assessing the building. A cleaning appointment or finished surface is not confirmation that structural or electrical concerns have been resolved. Record who is responsible for each outstanding assessment.
