In cleaning, a solution is a uniform mixture in which a substance is dissolved in a solvent. Salt dissolved in water is a familiar example. Not every mixture is a solution: suspended dirt can remain as separate particles.
What it means on a cleaning scope
The word “solution” does not tell you which product will be used or whether it suits the surface. Ask for the product name, intended material and application instructions. A ready-to-use product and a concentrate can have different preparation requirements.
Questions before treatment
Tell the cleaning team about the finish, previous treatments and any care label. Ask whether a small test area is appropriate and how rinsing or drying will be handled. Follow the product label; do not combine cleaning chemicals.
