Sheet vinyl is a resilient floor covering supplied in sheets. It differs from individual vinyl tiles or planks in its layout and seam arrangement.
What this means at your property
Water may reach edges, seams or the substrate beneath the covering. A surface that wipes dry does not establish the condition of adhesive or underlayment. Product age and the layers beneath it matter when removal is considered.
What should be assessed before lifting the floor?
Ask for identification of the assembly and any material evaluation needed before disturbance. The repair scope should address concealed moisture, substrate condition and replacement compatibility, rather than considering only the visible top layer.
