A water-damage job might include extraction, drying and replacement of finishes. Those activities do not necessarily start or finish together, and one contractor’s assignment may cover only some of them.
What should the job record make clear?
Identify the property, authorized contact, included work, exclusions and change-approval process. Ask for separate milestones where different trades are involved so that completion of an equipment visit is not confused with completion of all repairs.
