Different pumps handle different liquids, solids and operating conditions. Removing water from a low area requires a suitable discharge route and safe power arrangements as well as capacity. A pump is not a substitute for evaluating a hazardous flooded space.
What should an extraction plan identify?
Ask which liquid conditions the equipment is rated for, where the discharge will go and who evaluates access or electrical concerns. Drying and material assessment remain separate work after the standing water has been removed.
