Indoor air quality testing measures selected air conditions or contaminants using a defined sampling method. A result applies to what was sampled under the recorded conditions.
What this means at your property
A short sample collected in one room cannot describe every space or every time of day. A useful testing plan explains why a particular substance or condition is being measured and how the findings could change the response.
What should the report include?
Ask for locations, collection times, methods, laboratory information where applicable and interpretation limits. Keep the results with the building history. A broad statement that the air “passed” needs a clearly stated criterion behind it.
