Effects of abnormal water

Water can migrate beyond visibly wet areas, swell or damage materials and increase indoor humidity. Prolonged dampness can support microbial growth. Evaluation of affected areas and appropriate moisture control help guide the work; some materials may require replacement.

Reducing moisture and further damage

The work may include water removal, controlled drying, dehumidification and removal of materials that cannot be restored. Methods depend on the source, materials and conditions. Air movement must not spread suspected contamination into unaffected areas. Antimicrobial products are considered separately below and are not a substitute for addressing moisture.

Authorization to enter and perform agreed work

I am the owner or an authorized agent for the property identified in this form. I authorize HTX Elite Build to access the agreed work areas and provide labor, equipment and materials described in the project scope identified below. Additional work or changes require the approvals described in that agreement. This form does not authorize unspecified work.

Scope, pricing and project records

I have reviewed the project scope or estimate identified below. Pricing, payment timing, changes and any fees are governed by that written project agreement. Drying duration and repair needs depend on actual conditions. HTX Elite Build will document the work and discuss proposed changes. This form does not create a new price list or late-payment charge.

Stopping or changing work

If I request that recommended work stop or equipment be removed, I will contact HTX Elite Build so the change and potential effects can be documented. Incomplete drying or unresolved moisture may lead to further damage. Any allocation of responsibility is governed by the project agreement and applicable law; this acknowledgment does not create a blanket release or indemnity.
